The Associate Program – Transforming the Way We Partner

To leverage its national impact, the Museum has created an Associate Program, modeled on the Smithsonian Institution's Affiliate Program. A major objective of the Associate Program is to increase exposure of the collection across Canada by lending artifacts to partners and sharing use of the collection with them.

The Associate Program is a group of existing Canadian museums and science centres in mutually beneficial relationships with the Canada Science and Technology Museum. The program allows them to tap into services such as:

• Artifact loans from Canada’s national science and technology collection
• First right of refusal on travelling exhibitions
